letters i can't send is a virtual exhibit that aims to shed light on North Korean human rights issues and create a platform for defectors to share their stories. the exhibit contains a series of letters written by defectors addressing loved ones still living under the regime, the international community, and more. materials for the letters were compiled through word of mouth, personal relationships, and online and print resources on North Korea.

we as people are moved by stories, stories evoke empathy, and empathy drives change. it is my sincere hope that these stories will touch you as they have me.
